MLN is a London Milliner base that designs Hats and headpieces and reflects
sculptural femininity and sophistication. MLN Luxurious headpieces are all
hand-made and are perfect for any occasion: Royal Ascot, wedding guest,
occasion-wear, bridal, statement piece.

MLN’s collections are inspired by nature and architecture.
MLN uses different materials, fabrics, and dyes to create luxurious and bespoke
hats from different colours. MLN’s hats were exposed and sold at Fenwick’s Bond
Street in London.

MLN was created by Marie Leonie Ndawo in 2019. Marie's
passion for fashion and styling was developed during her childhood. Her mother
was a bespoke fashion designer and Marie spent most of her time in her workshop
designing and sewing clothes for dolls. She continued this passion in her
teenage years and adulthood altering and embellishing her outfits to create
unique pieces that stand out.

 

After years in different jobs, she wasn’t fulfilled
and returned to college to follow her dream of becoming a Fashion Designer. She
studied at Kensington and Chelsea College where she graduated as a Fashion and Textiles
designer.

 

With the desire to design sophisticated hats that
complement outfits, Marie decided to study millinery at Morley College
(Chelsea) to create bespoke headpieces that would make men and women stand out.
